About The Vacation Channel

Over the past 30 years The Vacation Channel has worked tirelessly to provide guests to the Coastal Virginia region with information on the best things to see and do throughout their stay in the area. Supporting local tourism efforts in Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, and Virginia Beach, The Vacation Channel showcases the areas best attractions, restaurants, shopping, and so much more through highly engaging and beautifully crafted videos.

In order to reach the area’s visitors, we use a multitude of platforms to showcase our program. The first is our in-room channel that plays in hotels, resorts, and timeshares throughout our supported cities. This channel features a variety of content from local tourism authorities including important city information, public service announcements, and helpful tips. The channel also features local businesses that have partnered with The Vacation Channel to educate the visiting population.

The Vacation Channel’s second resource for informing guests about opportunities in Coastal Virginia's is our companion website, www.VacationChannels.com. This site features all of the same content that can be seen on any of our in-room channels and additional resources that are exclusive to this site. The site provides this information in a user friendly format so that visitors may easily navigate and gain the most comprehensive information about the region. The site is PC compatible and mobile friendly so our resources are available whether you’re planning your trip from home or if you’re looking for something to do on the go.
