Coliseum Central Holiday Extravaganza
The Coliseum Central Parade in Hampton, Virginia is a tradition that began 21 years ago. Community groups, students, local businesses and local leaders band together to pull off an extraordinary event that kicks off the holiday season. This year, as was the case in 2020, the parade has been revamped into an online celebration with some in-person components.
Kick things off this Friday and Saturday with a “Holidays in the Sky” laser light show at the Hampton Coliseum parking lot. The free 30-minute shows will feature lasers, projections and LED video walls synchronized to holiday favorites playing through car FM radios. Space is limited, so you can reserve tickets here.
The Coliseum Central Holiday Extravaganza will be hosted online from November 20 – December 20, 2021. Log in to Coliseumcentralholiday.com for daily giveaways, online storytime, performances from Hampton high school bands, a gallery of student artwork and much more! In-person events will take place throughout Coliseum Central, where you can snap a pic at our holiday selfie station, and watch a drive-in movie at Hampton Coliseum!
